(2’x3′) Mixed media on canvas board.  This work features several African artefacts.
The artist produced a series of flag works in the 1990’s, through to roughly 2002.
The idea was a still-life collection of objects, often of African origin & nature, arranged on top of a roughly spread out national flag.
The style was semi-realistic.
The intention was a celebration of the creativity of Africa & African artists & craftsmen.
The colours are rich, intense, full.
The finish is lustrous.
